Le Soleil Royal was one of the finest boats in the fleet of Louis XIV, he sailed in 1669 from the yards of Brest.
It was designed by the famous French manufacturer L.
Hubac.
It was armed with 80 guns and distinguished himself in naval battles against the English at Beversiers and Aga.
In 1692, the Soleil Royal was attacked by the English fleet at Cherbourg and sent to the bottom.This model was made with striking décor to Sergal usual brand.
The hull is built of wood covered with a double skin in strips of walnut wood parts are laser cut.
108 artillery pieces and fittings are cast brass.
All remaining ornaments are cast brass.
All necessary hardware parts are either walnut or brass.The timeline of nine sheets, numerous sketches and extraordinary details greatly facilitate the construction of the model.
